This lucky Singaporean will enjoy his moment of glory in Poland
Singapore, 6 June 2012 – After six weeks of voting and intense competition, Singaporean Vishal Singh Kanwar, 25, has been crowned the winner of the Carlsberg Man of the Match Facebook challenge!
His video ‘I Kiss Football’, which showcases how he breathes and lives the beautiful game, garnered the most number of votes from the public – the criteria for winning this challenge. The video can be viewed on www.carlsbergmanofthematch.com.sg
Mr Kanwar will present the ‘Carlsberg Man of the Match’ trophy at the semi-final match on 28 June 2012 inWarsaw,Polandas well as treated to true Carlsberg hospitality. He will be flown business class, greeted at the airport, housed in a five-star hotel and most befittingly, pampered at the Carlsberg Hospitality Suite on match day. Describing his win as “a dream come true”, Mr Kanwar, who has been a football fanatic all his life, is “over the moon” with his upcoming trip.

Carlsberg Singaporereceived over 100 entries during this competition which ran for six weeks from 23 April to 31 May 2012. Interested participants uploaded a video of themselves onto the Carlsberg ‘Are you fan enough?’ app to convince the organisers why they should be the chosen one. The public was then encouraged to vote for the most outstanding video among all to determine the ultimate and most deserving winner.
